Sarah Jane Pearce Stay had family members who joined the LDS Church and emigrated to Utah. We have been in contact with the family of Charlotte Pearce a sister to Sarah Jane. Charlotte married Alfred Nethercott. Sarah Jane's mother, Mary Lacey Pearce emigrated with Joseph and his family and resided in St. Louis where she died. Charlotte and Sarah Jane likely had a brother Thomas Pearce died in California. Charlotte Pearce Nethercotte the ninth child, died in Salt Lake City 1 September 1912. We have been in contact with the Nethercott line, through Dale Marcum who lives in Victor Idaho.
