    Joseph Hyrum Stay and Mary Ann Stay
    Mary Ann Stay with her brother Joseph Hyrum. This photo would have been taken shortly after the families arrival in Saint Louis. We have three pictures of Mary Ann two show a hand holding her head erect. Mary Ann died 3 December 1866 and is burried in Saint Louis. The location of her grave along with the twins born there has not as yet been located. Sarah's mother also would be burried near the children.

    • Maty Ann died at the age of 11 years. Her birth was recorded. Cheltenham Branch See GS# 13656 pt. 17 Cheltenham Br. Engl. BK 156 p.1 Record of members 1840-1862. Branch records of the St. Louis 4th ward teachers district would lead us to believe she died in St. Louis, MO, and is buried there.
