Gunderson Funeral Held Wednesday
 Edward Gerald Gunderson, 37, of Menan, stockman and farmer, died Sunday evening in an Idaho Falls hospital after a short illness.
 He was Born August 9, 1910, in Salt Lake City. His parents moved to Menan two years later and he has since resided there.
 He attended the Menan grade school and was graduated from Midway high school. He attended the Midway seminary of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.
 Mr. Gunderson completed a mission for the LDS church from 1929 to 1933 in the East Central states. He had served a superintendent of the Sunday School at Menan, and also in the Presidency of the Young Men's Mutual Improvement Association.
 Besides his father Edward Casper Gunderson, his step mother, Mrs. Mary Gunderson survives; also four brothers and a sister, Vern and Grant Gunderson and Mrs. Leona Purcell, Menan and Aden Gunderson of Rigby,; a step-brother and step-sister, Harry Vandenberg, Menan and Mrs. Joyce Gordon, San Fernando, Calif., and 13 nieces and nephews.
 Funeral services were conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Menan    LDS chapel by Rulon E. Beus, Bishop. Burial was in Cedar Butte cemetery under direction of the Eckersell Mortuary.
Bishop-Beus conducted the services with the organ prelude and postlude by Esta Brizzee. The choir, directed by Mrs. Harriett Green, sang " I know That My Redeemer Lives." Invocation was by Milrurn Poole, followed by a quartet, Mr. and Mrs. M.M. Withe Wendell Samuelson and Mrs. Gwen Wimmer singing "Jesus Lover of My Soul".
 George M. Larsen gave the obituary. And a solo " My Task," was sung by Mrs. Wimmer. Kenneth Jensen was a speaker, and a vocal solo, "Bury me Near the Old Home," was sung by Ray Crystal. Closing remarks were made by Bishop Beus and the choir sang,. "I'll go where You Want Me to Go." Glen Watson gave the benediction.
 Ole Hanson gave the dedicatory prayer at the grave side in Little butte cemetery. The Mean relief society was in charge of the flowers Leona Purcell Pres. And the pall bearers were: Edward and Joseph Larsen, John Quinn, Kenneth Blunk, Darrel Gneiting, Walter Cook and Harold Casper.
