Mrs. Stay Rites set For Sunday

Funeral services for Mrs. Mary C. Stay, Widow of Joseph H. Stay will be held Sunday at 1 p.m. in the Wiford ward Chapel. Bishop Charles W. Fagg will preside.

The body may viewed at the residence of Mrs. Sarah R. Jacobson, a daughter, 3361 Highland Dr.... from 10 a. m. Until 12:30 p.m. Sunday. Interment will be in the city cemetery.

Mrs. Stay died form heart trouble at the residence of her daughter Mrs. Sarah Jacobson, Friday. She was born in Salt lake Mar. 31 1857, the daughter off Thomas H and Catherine Haskell Woodbury, early pioneers. She went with her parents on 1861 to assist in the settling of Utah's Dixie and lived at Grafton on the Rio Virgin for several years. The family was forced to give up residence there when flood waters ruined their farm.

Surviving are the following two sons. Joseph C. and Wiford Stay of Salt Lake; for daughters, Mrs. Mary D. White, Mrs. Sarah R. Jacobson and Mrs. Catherine Green of Salt lake; Mrs. Rosetta Gunderson of Menan, Idaho; two brothers John H. Woodbury of Granger and Thomas H. Woodbury of Salt Lake.
